Comedian Chris Langham was jailed for 10 months back in 2007 for downloading child pornography, but now it appears that the sex offender has been working secretly on West End Play Hit Me! The Life And Rhymes Of Ian Dury and has already been causing trouble. There was a fall out between Langham and the plays lead actor Jud Charlton last week which led to Charlton being sacked by the producers of the show. When talking to the evening standard Charlton stated “I was very unhappy with the script that Chris Langham wrote, I had an argument with him, and he questioned my reputation” Charlton also stated that he though this highly hypocritical given Langhams’ recent history.
The play which is a celebration of Ian Dury and the Blockheads held its preview performance last night at the Leicester Square theatre where actor Adrian Schiller replaced Charlton as the lead.
