Elton John is no stranger to the stage. He famously wrote the score for the hit musical Billy Elliot as well as the music for the Disney movie Lion Kinks. Now Elton is set to take on Broadway again by producing his own play with his partner David Furnish. The play which was written by Geoffrey Nauffts is about two gay men whose relationship is strained by their respective and conflicting religious beliefs.

Not only will the pair be producing the play but it now appears that they are collaborating on the score. If the play is anywhere near as popular as Billy Elliot was when it hit Broadway in 2008, then the play is set to be a very big success.
