The musical, Thriller Live based on the life of Michael Jackson is playing in London’s West End until April 12^th but what does it offer?

The full range of Jacksons hits are performed throughout the show starting with his days in the Jackson 5, which sees 13 year old Kieran Alley playing the young Jackson, singing hits such as ABC and I Want You Back.

Most of the songs are taken from Jackson’s massively successful albums, The Wall and Thriller where numbers like Beat It and Thriller already have the choreography for a stage show performance such as this.

Ultimately this musical is a tribute to Jackson with no mention of the many scandals that have followed him during his career. Instead the performers only take a break from singing to tell the audience about Michaels many achievements.

The musical has had a mixed response from critics and is showing now at the Lyric in London for another couple of months, which will give you the opportunity to decide for yourself.
