The world was shocked when the news spread of Michael Jacksons death, and now fans of the king of pop are trying to find ways in which to morn his death and celebrate his life. One of the ways many fans are choosing to do this is to see the musical Thriller Live in the West End. The show which celebrates Jacksons career, from his days in the Jackson 5 to his highly successful time as a solo singer has reported an increase in sales since Michael Jackson’s death was reported.
The show itself paid its own respects by dimming the lights outside the Lryic theatre in the West End which is the home of the musical. The executive director of the show, Adrian Grant, shared his own thoughts and stated that like many fans he feels a ‘deep sense of loss and sadness’
The Thriller Live musical will be showing at the Lyric until January 2010 so there is plenty of time for fans to go along and join in with a celebration of his life and music.
