This summer the cast of the Musical Hairspray will be changing. The Olivier Award winner Leanne Jones will be leaving her lead role as Tracy Turnblad when she is taken over by Chloe Hart. But who will play the lead male role of Link Larkin? It had been rumoured that Ray Quinn, winner of Dancing on Ice was set to take it on before being offered the role of Danny in Grease, but now it appears that another X-factor contestant, Austin Drage, will be auditioning for the role.
Other rumours circulating around the hairspray cast change are that Brian Conley will be taking over from Michael Ball as Tracy’s mother. I guess it will be a case of watch this space!!
